Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: RN Specialty: RN - ICU Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Preferred acute care facility experience License: Required Registered Nurse (RN) licensure Certifications: Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must-Have: Recent EPIC experience Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and safety. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers to provide patient care in a compassionate environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates tasks appropriately and coordinates duties among healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to organizational requirements for safety and wellbeing. Adheres to vaccination requirements as a condition of employment.
