Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives as a contract Paraprofessional serving elementary and middle school learners in a supportive educational environment near Bellevue, WA. This dynamic position offers a blend of 1:1 and classroom support, working closely with experienced professionals to implement behavior intervention strategies and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere.

Key Qualifications and Credentials:

• Associate’s degree, high school diploma, or passage of the ETS paraprofessional exam
• Alternatively, RBT or CBT credential for behavior technicians
• Previous experience supporting children in school settings strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support primarily for an elementary-aged male student during morning hours to ensure academic and behavioral success
• Serve as a classroom and program floater in the afternoons, assisting multiple students and collaborating with campus staff
• Participate in direct instructional support alongside district BCBA and another professional behavior technician to consistently implement effective behavioral interventions (1 hour, Monday–Wednesday, 2–3 p.m.)
• Adapt to the evolving needs of classrooms while maintaining a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings to track each student’s progress

What You Can Expect:

• Contract assignment from May 11, 2026, to June 18, 2026, offering consistency through the remainder of the school year
• Work schedule of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, ensuring excellent work-life balance
• Compensation ranges from $30 to $36 per hour, paid weekly
