Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (required)
• Previous experience in K-8 school settings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven instruction
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with both students and staff
• Ability to adapt instruction for a variety of learning styles and needs
• Familiarity with best practices in inclusive education

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students with individualized needs across K-8 classrooms
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Utilize evidence-based strategies for classroom management and academic interventions
• Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and contribute to meetings
• Participate in school activities and professional development opportunities
