Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience in a collaborative environment while gaining exposure to a variety of accounting functions. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Perform bank and account reconciliations Analyze financial data and investigate account discrepancies Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for financial reporting Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
