Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nursing opportunity is available in a healthcare facility located in Sioux City. This position involves providing care to post-operative patients with various surgical procedures, including prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal surgeries, and thyroidectomy, within a general medical-surgical floor that manages overnight stays. The role requires active participation in a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Sioux City
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Iowa or Iowa compact nursing license, BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred; ARC or US Military accepted), NIHSS certification, Sioux City Level 3 Trauma Center experience, at least 2 years of Med Surg/Tele experience, first-time traveler acceptable
• Preferred Qualifications: Specific skills checklist relevant to Med Surg/Tele discipline, recent supervisory reference form within two years
• Float: Float within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
• Orientation Dates: 10/12/2026 and 10/26/2026
• Unit Details: Post-op care for surgeries such as prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal, and thyroid, with the administration of Heparin drips
• Additional Information: Must adhere to dress code in navy blue, no local candidates (all must be at least 50 miles from the facility), and complete required submission documents
