The Sales Support team member provides exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operations for the Sales Managers for Simpson Race Products, located in New Braunfels, TX.  This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, processing orders, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring customers receive timely and accurate service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This position is located in New Braunfels, TX. 

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Support & Account Management

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships that promote customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate customer information.
• Assist customers with product availability, order status, shipping updates, and general account questions.

Sales & Order Administration

• Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Expedite rush orders and update sales orders, shipping information, and customer requests as needed.
• Perform data entry related to sales activity, customer information, and operational records.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support order fulfillment and customer communications.

Operational Support

• Coordinate with Sales, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Shipping, and Customer Service teams to support order fulfillment and inventory availability.
• Assist with retail store support, customer calls, and walk-in customers as needed.
• Support customer meetings, trade shows, and promotional events when requested.
• Communicate order, inventory, or shipping issues to appropriate team members for timely resolution.
• Provide administrative support to the sales team and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail, office, customer service, or sales support experience required.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the motorsports, racing, or automotive aftermarket industry is a plus.
• Experience with ERP or order management systems is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical activities including repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods throughout the workday.

Travel Requirements

• Provide support at race events, trade shows, and promotional activities as needed; occasional travel up to 5%.
