Otr Class A Cdl Driver
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service while transporting goods to designated locations.
Responsibilities:
- Must be available and comfortable to work both day and night shifts
- Operate and drive various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
- Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations during transport.
- Provide exceptional service to customers during deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized truck types is a plus.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading freight is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of route driving and logistics management.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures while on the road.
