What You'll Do

✅ Assemble electronic sensors, circuit boards, and related components by following detailed work instructions and specifications

✅ Perform surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole soldering using industry-standard tools and techniques

✅ Wire, cable, and connect electronic assemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and engineering documentation

✅ Complete mechanical assembly of finished products, ensuring proper fit, function, and quality

✅ Use microscopes to perform precision soldering and inspection of small electronic components

✅ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and assembly instructions with accuracy

✅ Navigate computer-based work instructions and production documentation

✅ Safely operate hand tools and assembly equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

✅ Inspect your work, identify defects, and maintain high-quality standards throughout the assembly process

✅ Cross-train in testing and additional assembly areas to expand your skills and support production needs

✅ Collaborate with teammates to meet daily production goals and customer delivery commitments

Work Environment

You'll work alongside a team of 5-8 assemblers in a clean, organized, high-volume production environment. Daily production ranges from 100 to 200+ units , creating a fast-paced and engaging atmosphere where teamwork and quality are essential.

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Throughout the day, you'll use microscopes, soldering equipment, hand tools, and computer-based work instructions to complete both electronic and mechanical assemblies.

Dress Code: Casual attire with closed-toe shoes required ✅ No loose-fitting clothing for safety on the production floor

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
