This function is responsible for executing assembly and production processes while maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment. This position is located in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota and follows an onsite work model 5 days a week. Multiple shifts are available: Monday-Friday 1st Shift- 6:10am-2:10pm 2nd Shift 2:10pm-10:10pm 3rd Shift 10:10pm-6:10am (Sunday-Thursday) At Medtronic we bring bold ideas forward with seed and decisiveness to put patients first in everything we do. As an Assembler II, you will perform production assembly activities to support manufacturing operations and product quality objectives. This role works with manufacturing instructions, visual aids, process documentation, and various assembly tools to build, inspect, and verify products in accordance with established procedures and specifications. **Primary Responsibilities** + Perform assembly operations ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production tasks. + Follow visual aids, process flows, diagrams, schematics, and written or verbal work instructions to complete assembly activities. + Prepare products and assembly components using designated tools and equipment. + Conduct in-process and final continuity checks to verify product conformance. + Perform quality inspections in accordance with established specifications and manufacturing requirements. + Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototype or experimental assemblies as required. + Accurately document work completed and follow applicable quality and operational procedures. + Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards while working in a manufacturing environment that requires prolonged standing and walking. **Required Qualifications** + 1+ years of manufacturing, production assembly, supply chain, operations, or related experience gained through work experience and/or applicable training, education, or certification. + No minimum education requirement. + Basic knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain operational procedures, systems, and tools. + Experience using microscopes to perform inspection, assembly, or quality-related tasks. + Demonstrated hand dexterity and fine motor skills required to perform detailed assembly work. + Ability to read and follow written work instructions, diagrams, and process documentation with great attention to detail. **Preferred Qualifications** + Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. + Experience working in medical device manufacturing. + Strong mathematical skills for measurements and quality verification activities. + Automotive manufacturing experience and flexibility to support multiple production areas as business needs require.
