Mechanical AssemblerThe Mechanical Assembler assembles metal components into finished products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work at an individual assembly station, using hand and power tools to build the same product throughout the shift while maintaining a steady production rate of approximately one assembly every 2.5 minutes. You follow detailed work instructions or blueprints, ensure accuracy and quality, and perform frequent lifting of assemblies weighing 30–35 lbs. The workspace is fairly clean and organized, though not maintained to medical or laboratory standards. You spend most of the day at an individual assembly station, standing for long periods and frequently lifting assemblies weighing 30–35 lbs. You regularly use hand tools and power tools and follow established safety and ergonomic practices while working in a fast-paced, production-driven setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
