As our Sales Coordinator , you'll be an essential partner to the Sales team, helping move business from initial inquiry to execution. From proposals and client visits to account details and sales systems, you'll keep the information flowing, the team organized, and our clients feeling taken care of every step of the way.

Your Mission

Support the Sales team in driving revenue and creating exceptional client experiences by keeping sales activities organized, opportunities moving forward, and communication seamless between clients, Sales, and hotel operations.

What You'll Do

Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to assigned Sales Managers and Sales leadership.

Maintain accurate and current information in hotel sales, catering, CRM, PMS, and other applicable systems.

Track leads, inquiries, tentative business, definite bookings, and follow-up activities to help keep opportunities moving.

Assist with preparing sales presentations, client proposals, site visit materials, and sales appointments.

Create and distribute proposals, resumes, agreements, Banquet Event Orders, and other sales-related documents.

Process and distribute sales documentation accurately and within established timelines.

Assist Sales Managers with maintaining accurate account and contact information.

Enter individual reservations as needed and support other reservation-related requests.

Develop and maintain catering, banquet, and other sales tools that help the team showcase the hotel.

Assist with site preparation and provide on-site support for client visits, meetings, and events.

Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and administrative requests.

Serve as a reliable point of contact for sales-related questions, information, and follow-up.

Assist with sales calls, appointments, trade shows, client events, networking activities, and promotional initiatives.

Prepare materials for sales blitzes, client visits, trade shows, networking events, and other sales opportunities.

Communicate client needs, changes, and important details accurately to Sales Managers and operational departments.

Participate in hotel tours and become knowledgeable about guestrooms, meeting spaces, restaurants, amenities, services, and everything that makes Hard Rock Hotel San Diego a destination.

Support the Sales, Catering, and Events teams with special projects and other responsibilities as business needs evolve.

You're a Great Fit If You...

Have previous hospitality, sales, or administrative experience, preferably in a full-service or upscale hotel environment.

Have a college degree or diploma, preferably in Hospitality or a related field.

Are extremely organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple priorities moving at once.

Have refined written, verbal, and listening communication skills.

Are comfortable working with Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems. Delphi experience is a plus.

Take initiative and bring exceptional energy, flexibility, and professionalism to your work.

Know how to build positive relationships with clients, guests, and fellow Curators.

Enjoy working collaboratively across Sales, Catering, Events, and hotel operations.

Have a genuine desire to anticipate needs, follow through, and exceed client expectations.

Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Are flexible to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and special events based on business needs.

Experience & Qualifications

• College diploma or degree preferred, ideally in Hospitality or a related field.
• Approximately 2 years of relevant experience preferred, particularly within a comparable full-service, upscale, or luxury hotel.
• Delphi experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Must meet professional appearance and dress standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods.
• Ability to use computers, phones, and standard office equipment.
• Ability to move throughout the hotel and assist with client visits, sales events, and property functions.
