Personal Lines Insurance Agent

Job Description

Purpose of Position:

Provide extraordinary customer service and trusted insurance guidance while identifying and creating sales opportunities that support agency growth.

Requirements:

Florida insurance license
Strong computer proficiency and professional phone skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow established procedures

Essential Functions:

Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
Update and endorse insurance policies
Handle billing inquiries and process payments
Identify dissatisfied customers or those at risk of leaving the agency
Report and assist with insurance claims
Review daily reports
Complete new business applications accurately using established checklists
Cross-sell insurance products to existing customers
Follow up on pending endorsements and applications
Perform additional duties as assigned or needed
Maintain a positive, self-motivated, and team-oriented attitude
Commit to ongoing professional development by pursuing industry designations and additional insurance licensing opportunities.
