As our RDA, you will have the opportunity to perform coronal polishing while building rapport with our young patients.We want you to bring your passion, skills, and drive to help patients achieve beautiful smiles and better health while creating "wow" experiences at every visit!ResponsibilitiesMust be able to work in a pediatric, child friendly environmentReview all hygiene patient charts including; reason and necessity of visit, medical history, and x-ray requirementVerify patient information with parent or guardian, according to HIPAA privacy standardsHave coronal polishing certification - We are able to provide a sealant course!Verify the patient has consent for treatment from parent or guardianAdvise parent or guardian what to expect in the visit and address any concernsCharting all existing/missing teeth, existing restorations, and/or dental proceduresObtaining all x-rays necessary in the best quality possibleMaintaining accurate clinical notes of each visitClean and sterilize all instruments following OSHA and company standards. This includes; scrubbing instruments, packing the instruments and processing them through the statim or autoclave sterilizerMust maintain Dental Assisting License in good standing and complete the CE Credits required by stateQualificationsCurrent State of TN RDA LicenseCurrent CPR Healthcare Provider CertificationPolishing and Radiology Certification
