Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive educational environment. This contract role begins August 25, 2026, and continues through June 8, 2027, offering flexibility with both part-time and full-time hours available, working Monday through Friday for up to 37.5 hours each week. Located near Wilmington, DE, you'll work onsite with students in a school building and have the unique chance to provide services for students who are medically homebound, ensuring every child receives the speech and language support they need.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Delaware SLP license required
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is essential
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Comfortable working with both in-school and homebound student populations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and interventions to students in a school environment
• Deliver services to students who are homebound due to medical needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt therapy techniques to accommodate a variety of student needs and settings
• Support a fluctuating caseload as student needs change throughout the year
