Financial Analyst IIIThe Financial Analyst III will provide strong support to the business unit leadership to ensure attainment of financial & operational objectives are met by the assigned business unit or major product group. Leads in the preparation and presentation of results of projects or programs along with the overall financial results for the business unit to senior management. Has very high technical skills.Responsibilities and TasksAccountability for analysis, reporting, forecasting and communication of quarterly/monthly financial results: P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. This involves budgets, estimates, strategic plans and monthly/quarterly comparative analysis.Orchestrate the budget (Annual Operating Plan) development process.Keep abreast of the latest systems and philosophies related to financial management information systems leveraging the SRC financial reporting system (a.k.a. - Business Objects Budgeting/Reporting). Participate in developing recommendations and implementing appropriate changes.Own the reliability, timeliness and accuracy of financial forecasting.Support special projects, primarily in the area of process improvement, documentation, and automationAssist in the development strategic and operational objectives.Prepare and coordinate ad hoc financial analysis, particularly in the area of process improvement.Establish, monitor and communicate performance metrics in support of initiatives.Become a trusted business partner to corporate and site leadership through advice and counsel supporting value based decision making.Promote high performing work environment through:Ethical business behavior.Accountability.Ongoing skill development.Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.Knowledge (Education/License/Certification, Prior Experience)Master's degree is preferredBachelor's degree is required.
