What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room, supporting various surgical specialties including ortho, neuro, plastics, ENT, and robotics.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments using EPIC or similar electronic health records, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient histories, assessments, care plans, and interventions accurately.
• Assist with patient education and pre/postoperative care.
• Maintain the highest standards of asepsis and infection control during procedures.
• Follow all hospital protocols and safety standards to support patient and staff safety.

What You Need

• RN license in Texas or a valid compact state license
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• 1+ year of OR or surgical nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage contingencies effectively
