Job Description\n Med Ninjas is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Marshall, Michigan.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Physical Therapist\n Discipline: Therapy\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Job Summary :\n - Provide medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to patients to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability after disease, injury, or loss of body part.\n - Requires ability to stand and sit for extended periods (90% of the time), reach with hands and arms, and lift/move at least 50 pounds.\n - Must be able to work in environments with potential exposure to infectious diseases.\n - Full fit for duty physical required upon extended job offer.\n - Minimum 1 year of physical therapy (PT) experience required; previous travel experience preferred.\n - Must submit a current skills checklist for physical therapy (within 1 year).\n - At least 1 supervisory-signed reference from the past two years is required.\n - Must hold an active Michigan PT license at time of submission.\n - Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.\n - Will provide general orthopedic treatment and work with a range of orthopedic conditions, including nerve entrapment, arthroscopy, joint replacements, trauma, tendonopathy, and sports medicine.\n - Coverage area includes Calhoun County, Michigan.\n - Dress code is business casual or solid scrubs.\n - Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate.\n - Facility located in Marshall, MI, with access to local attractions and cities nearby.\n Med Ninjas Job ID #15159.
