No exceptions. The healthcare facility is licensed for 815 beds. It has been recognized among the top 1% of hospitals in the nation for providing the highest clinical quality year over year. The facility has achieved an A rating for patient safety. It has also earned the prestigious Magnet Designation, recognizing excellent nursing standards. The facility serves as a referral center for a Level II trauma center and a comprehensive stroke center. It is equipped with a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. There is a busy robotic surgery program available. The facility provides open-heart and interventional cardiology services in the region. Candidates will work in an Orthopedic unit with 32 individual rooms. The unit has a total of 50 staff members. Day shift includes 1 charge RN, 6 RNs, 1-2 LPNs, 3 PCTs, and 1 HUC. Night shift includes 1 charge RN, 5 RNs, 1-2 LPNs, 2 PCTs, and 1 HUC. The patient ratio on the day shift is 5:1 with a stretch to 6:1. Night shift patient ratio is 6:1 with a stretch to 7:1. Common equipment includes walkers, bedside commodes, bladder scanners, CPM, sky lifts, and wheelchairs. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. A team player attitude and a caring approach are essential. Required skills include dressing changes, suture/staple removal, and Foley catheter maintenance. A commitment to patient care is crucial. Every other weekend commitment is expected.
