Required Skills:
- Current RN license in the practicing state
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience, with specific expertise in Orthopedics, ENT, Plastics, or Robotics (Da Vinci experience required)
- Proficient with the Nursing Process and patient assessment
- Strong delegation, communication, and leadership abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Basic computer literacy and documentation skills
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
- Previous experience supervising or managing nursing staff
- Additional certifications relevant to surgical nursing or patient safety
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Over 2 years of OR nursing experience, particularly in specialized surgical procedures
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work the 12-hour shift from midnight to midnight (24-hour shift)
- Ability to exert physical effort including lifting and positioning patients, with exposure to blood and bodily fluids
- Knowledge of current federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Willingness to adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols
- Must be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic healthcare environment
