Job Title: Material Handler Job Description

The Material Handler safely moves and organizes products throughout the facility to support continuous manufacturing operations. This role focuses on pulling and unloading shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring production operators have the materials they need to keep the manufacturing process running smoothly. The position involves frequent use of forklifts and pallet jacks in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.

• Move products and materials throughout the facility using forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist with pulling and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments to support production and warehouse operations.
• Ensure products and materials are stocked and readily available for machine operators to maintain a steady manufacturing flow.
• Handle, stage, and organize materials in designated warehouse and production areas to support efficient workflow.
• Use RF scanners or similar tools to pick and track inventory accurately as required.
• Support general material handling tasks, including loading, unloading, and transporting goods within the manufacturing facility.
• Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines while operating material handling equipment.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to prioritize and complete material movement tasks on time.

• Proven experience as a material handler in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts for material movement.
• Experience using pallet jacks to move products safely within a facility.
• Background in warehouse operations, including material handling and inventory support.
• Ability to perform picking tasks and handle materials efficiently.
• Familiarity with RF scanners or similar tools for inventory or picking tasks.
• Ability to work safely and follow established procedures in a manufacturing setting.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility is beneficial.
• Experience supporting production environments related to heavy equipment or industrial products is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and cross-train in different material handling functions.

You will receive on-the-job training and the opportunity to build practical skills in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. The organization supports cross-training, allowing you to develop additional skill sets and broaden your experience across different material handling and production support functions.

This role is based in a manufacturing facility that focuses on equipment for the mining industry. The position follows a first-shift schedule, with core hours from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Fridays as part of the regular workweek. You will work in a warehouse and production setting that involves operating forklifts and pallet jacks, handling materials, and supporting continuous manufacturing operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Richmond, WI.

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in New Richmond,WI.
