Senior Electrical EstimatorPosition Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating electrical costs for various construction projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery. This role involves collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders during the preconstruction phase and providing expert insights to drive project success.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed electrical estimates for industrial construction projectsReview project plans and specifications to identify and quantify electrical materials and labor neededUtilize Accubid and other estimation software to create accurate project estimatesCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimatesConduct takeoffs from plans and specifications to determine material quantities and labor costsLead preconstruction meetings to discuss estimates and provide technical expertiseAnalyze historical data to improve estimating processes and accuracyMaintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricingQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating within the construction industryProven experience with Accubid or similar estimating softwareStrong understanding of electrical systems and componentsExcellent mathematical skills and attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholdersBenefitsPTO and sick leaveMedical/Dental/Vision Life Insurance 401k (with company match)Vehicle allowance Discretionary performance bonus
