Food Service Worker
Southampton Schools Food Service Department is seeking a dependable, energetic and customer-focused Food Service Worker.
Position Start: 2026-2027 School Year
Hours: 6.0 hours/day
Salary/Pay Scale: Per Contract
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Prior food service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is desirable.
- Good working knowledge of the application of sanitation practices in the preparation of food and the ability to work as part of a team to prepare meals.
Requirements:
- NYS Department of Education Fingerprinting Clearance
- Candidates employed in a school must attend ongoing continuing education/training as required by the Food and Nutrition Service of the United States Department.of Agriculture.
