B2B / Local Commercial Sales and Account Specialist (Full-Time) — San Jose, California

1-800-GOT-JUNK? in San Jose is looking for a business development professional to focus on local commercial sales growth. As the Commercial Sales and Account Specialist, you will engage existing commercial customers to grow recurring business and generate new business through lead generation and prospecting. This position is based in San Jose, and you will be responsible for local commercial sales and customer acquisition throughout the South Bay territory.

About the position:

• Report to the business owner and focus on achieving revenue goals through both existing accounts and new commercial customer acquisition.
• Meet or exceed sales activity targets, including a high volume of outbound calls, on-site estimates and proposals, key account management, referrals, networking, virtual and in-person prospecting, and new local business relationships.
• Understand and help drive franchise profitability by building high-value customer relationships.
• Maintain a high level of competitor and local marketplace knowledge.
• Partner with our National Accounts and Strategic Alliances teams to grow commercial sales locally.
• Use our sales app to track and report on sales activity.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years of business-to-business sales experience
• A track record of increasing net-new sales and meeting aggressive sales targets
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• Proficiency in Google Workspace; Salesforce experience a plus

Compensation: $27–$35 per hour ($56,160–$72,800 per year), commensurate with relevant skills and experience, plus commissions and bonuses tied to monthly and annual commercial revenue targets.
