About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, BCLS Must-Have: - Strong experience in fetal heart monitoring - Previous charge experience preferred Description: The ideal candidate will work in a Labor and Delivery environment. This unit has a patient ratio of 1:1-2 during shifts. The unit experiences both high-acuity and high-risk cases. Candidates will assist with care for both mother and baby. Strong experience is required due to the autonomy needed in the department. The unit is not particularly busy, with approximately 100 births in the last year. Floating to MedSurg and additional responsibilities may be required. Candidates must be comfortable with floating based on the job description with no restrictions. Working two out of three major holidays is a requirement.
