• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Shift Times: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,250 - $1,320

Job Requirements

• Active New York LPN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of Licensed Practical Nurse experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care preferred
• Willingness to float as needed within the unit or facility
• Comfortable working with residents diagnosed with dementia and memory-care needs
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans
• Support residents with chronic conditions and memory-care needs, including dementia-related care
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, high-quality resident care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
• Adapt to floating assignments within the unit or facility as needed
• Promote a compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered care environment
