Job Title: Pipe Welder Job Description

The Pipe Welder will be responsible for welding all sizes of Carbon pipe for skid packaged piping systems. The candidate must be proficient in tack welding, spot welding, and 6G welding using both Mig and Flux methods.

• Perform welding on various sizes of Carbon pipes for skid packaged piping systems.
• Execute tack welding and spot welding tasks as required.
• Conduct 6G welding using Mig and Flux techniques.
• Ensure quality and precision in welding processes.

• Proficiency in 6G welding using Mig and Flux methods.
• 3-5 years of experience in pipe welding.
• Ability to pass a 6G pipe weld test with MIG and FLUX on Carbon.
• Experience in tack welding and spot welding.

• Experience in high production manufacturing shops.

The position is based in a manufacturing shop that is non-climate controlled. The schedule includes Monday to Friday shifts and some Saturdays, with options for day shifts from 6AM to 4:30PM or night shifts from 4:30PM to 2/3AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $31.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
