Job Title: Employment Support Professional Lead Department: Employment Services Reports To: Employment Services/Support Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 5340 W Bethany Home Rd Glendale, AZ 85301 If you have a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Card, along with current certificates in Article 9, Infant/Child/Adult CPR, First Aid, and Prevention and Support and pass the required background checks, you are eligible for a certification bonus of up to $250.00**! OBJECTIVE

To provide daily assistance to the Employment Services Production Supervisor as well as the Employment Support Supervisors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide members with training in assembly work. Assure quality of members’ work. Maintain program documentation, implementation, safety and cleanliness. Assist in tracking individual member program goals and objectives. Assist in tracking quality control of contract work. Must be able to fill out and complete correctly a large amount of forms and paperwork. Participate in staff development programs. Provide assurance of human and civil rights of members. Assist in crisis intervention as needed. Be familiar with emergency first aid procedures and accident reporting procedures. Maintain good relations with members, guardians, co-workers, and the public. Maintain a manner and appearance that reflects the organization. Drive van safely and within all guidelines and laws. Assist members in getting on/off the van.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises the activities of staff and members in the workshop and in the community, including individual and group work. Assist members and staff in community based employment and enclave.

AUTHORITY

This person shall have the authority to complete the above responsibilities subject to the verbal and/or written approval of the Employment Services Production Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Possess social and communication skills to effectively work with disabled individuals and to establish and perform job responsibilities. Ability to learn the special needs of the individuals served. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent plus minimum 2 years experience working with persons with disabilities. Associates degree preferred in related field and three years of experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by the Executive Director. Supervisory experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Bilingual and/or sign language a plus, but not required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic calculations.

REASONING ABILITY

Basic ability to apply training to daily situations. Short term planning skills; judgment regarding quality assurance.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

CPR, First Aid, Article 9 and Member Intervention Training. If you do not hold these certifications, Gompers will provide training. A valid Arizona Drive License and a clear 39 month Arizona Motor Vehicle Report required. Fingerprint Clearance Card.
