Job DescriptionJob Title: Principal Mechanical Design Engineer\n\nLocation: Phoenix, AZ\n\nDuration: 08 Months with further possibility of extension\n\nJob Description:\nRotor Dynamics is a special mechanical engineering focus that studies the vibration, stability, and dynamics (i.e., a function of speed) behavior of rotating systems such as Fans, Compressors, & Turbines used in Jet Engines.\n\nMust Have:\n\n Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field\n Extensive Rotor Dynamics experience in mechanical design engineering within aerospace or related industries, focusing on complex component and system design\n Proficiency in FEA software such as ANSYS APDL or ANSYS Workbench\n Proficiency in 1D Beam based FEA technique\n Proficiency in Rotor Dynamics & Shafting Structural Analyses\n Ability to lead design reviews, conduct risk assessments, and mentor engineering teams effectively\n Proven leadership experience in managing mechanical design projects in aerospace environments\n\n\nWe Value:\n\n Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n Familiarity with systems engineering principles and cross-disciplinary collaboration\n Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and aerospace certification processes\n Knowledge of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and design standards such as AS9100 and MIL-STD\n Experience with design for manufacturability, tolerance analysis, and mechanical testing methodologies\n\n
