About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Research Officer to provide strategic leadership and oversight of its research enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive research strategy, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of research integrity and compliance. This role involves working closely with faculty, staff, and external partners to advance the company's research mission and promote the translation of scientific discoveries into practical applications. The Chief Research Officer will also be instrumental in securing research funding and managing the allocation of resources to support a diverse range of research activities. Applicants for the Chief Research Officer position at the company should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant scientific or medical field, with a strong track record of research and a proven ability to lead and manage a large and complex research enterprise. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience in strategic planning, and research administration, and a deep understanding of the research funding landscape are essential.
