Senior PHP EngineerClient is looking for a talented Senior PHP Engineer to join our team. The Senior PHP Engineer will work in a fast paced and collaborative environment on new sites as well as on developing enhancements of existing high volume and feature rich web sites.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Design, architect and develop new and existing PHP websites (hands-on coding)Work collaboratively to ensure that all development efforts are completed according to standards and that the solutions are robust and extensibleWork in an Agile environment and interface with Marketing and/or Product Owners to help understand and size user storiesEnsure proper tracking of tasks and ensuring Sprint story commitmentsRespond to any critical defects or production issuesCollaborate on infrastructureRequired Skills/Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field requiredMinimum 5 years technical experience in designing applications and physical architectures for enterprise level, mission critical systemsExperience in Agile Application Development & Scrum methodologiesMust have successfully created large scale PHP web applications running using a PHP frameworkMust have experience with LaravelMust have strong object oriented programming experienceExperience in the development of shared packages and librariesExperience working with package management systems such as ComposerMust have strong experience working with SQL databasesMust have exposure to the setup and configuration of the Apache web serverFamiliarity with developing and deploying applications in the cloudExperience with No-SQL databases a plusExcellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skillsMust be able to communicate effectively Cardinal Integrated
