Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, which include physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to devise and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support, encompassing room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument handling during surgeries
• Ensure outstanding pre- and post-operative patient care, which includes medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Hands-on experience through clinical rotations, with a preference for surgical focus

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required
• State licensure eligibility (or active) as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• Excellent understanding of surgical principles and sterile protocols
