Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, encompassing comprehensive physical examinations and intricate medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues through analysis of imaging and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, including preparing the operating room, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing instruments during surgeries
• Offer first-rate pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wound care, planning discharge, and educating patients

Educational Background

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices is highly preferred

Certifications

• Possession of a current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
