Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth medical history analysis
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging results and laboratory tests
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative support, which includes preparing the OR, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments throughout procedures
• Deliver stellar pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge procedures, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a surgical focus are highly desirable

Certifications

• Current and active PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant is required
