Controls / Automation EngineerJob Overview: As a Controls / Automation Engineer, you will be working across industries to provide outstanding Operational Technology related programs, interfaces, documentation and support. You could be working on assembly lines, well heads, datacenters, beverage facilities, and providing managed SCADA services - all in the same week. Our team is expected to learn and to grow to be proficient across multiple skillsets while becoming an expert in 2-3 key disciplines. The role will require excellence as an individual contributor as well as working as part of a larger team.Key Areas of Knowledge: Instrumentation and calibration Industrial Communication Protocols Industrial Networks - serial, IP, wireless Control Cabinet Design and Troubleshooting Electrical and Signal Troubleshooting RTU / PLC Programming - Ladder Logic, Sequential Function Blocks, Structured Text DCS Development SCADA Programming, Graphics and Support Drafting and Control Panel Design Process Controls Technical Writing Project Management Work is completed in hybrid work environments, in office with the team, occasionally from home, and in the field for commissioning or on-going support as needed.
