As a Lab Tech, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Lab Foreman in testing the Aggrate and Asphalt for DOT and private jobs. Vacation & Sick Leave Life Insurance Holiday Pay Overtime Pay is after 8hrs a day not 40 hrs Cell Phone reimbursement Uniforms What to expect with this job Hours are usually 10 plus hrs / day 5 days a week - rarely a Saturday work Some travel required in the Southeast area of State Depending on Jobsite - overnight stays are suggested but not required Responsibilities Coring of road Collecting any type of sample needed Preforming test of samples Entering of results on computer Requirements Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
