Concordia Publishing House is looking for a Customer Service Representative who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and solving problems - someone who can turn a routine call into a great customer experience.Why Join Us?As part of the CPH team, you will enjoy:Purpose-driven work supporting Gospel-centered ministryA collaborative, caring culture with people who genuinely value teamworkProfessional growth opportunitiesThe chance to make a meaningful impact on churches, schools, and families across the countryCompetitive benefits and work-life balanceWhat You'll DoAs a Customer Service Representative, you will:Answer 50–80 incoming customer calls per day, resolving order, billing, and account questions with speed, care, and professionalismProcess sales orders, credits, returns, and order updates through our order management systemResearch and resolve customer issues by reviewing orders, invoices, credits, and product information - or by looping in another department when neededStay current on new publications, product changes, and special promotions to make the right product recommendations to customersBuild lasting relationships with a wide range of customers, from individual shoppers to church and school accountsWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone with:A high school diploma or equivalentPrevious customer service experience, ideally in a call center environmentExcellent communication skills and a detail-oriented, highly organized approach to multi-taskingStrong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic Excel formulasHigh energy, enthusiasm, dependability, and adaptability to changing systems and prioritiesAn LCMS background is helpful but not requiredBe Part of Something BiggerFor more than 150 years, Concordia Publishing House has produced resources that strengthen churches, schools, and families in the Christian faith.
