Laurel Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a highly organized and dependable HIM Coordinator / Nursing Scheduler / Central Supply Coordinator to join our team! This dynamic position plays a key role in supporting resident care by managing medical records, coordinating nursing schedules, and maintaining medical supply inventory.

As the HIM Coordinator / Nursing Scheduler / Central Supply Coordinator, you will:

• Maintain resident medical records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.

• Audit medical records for completeness and obtain required physician signatures.

• Manage admissions, discharges, and medical record documentation.

• Create and maintain nursing staff schedules.

• Coordinate schedule changes, call-offs, and shift coverage.

• Assist with staffing coordination to help ensure appropriate nursing coverage.

• Order, receive, organize, and distribute medical and nursing supplies.

• Monitor inventory levels, expiration dates, and supply usage.

• Work closely with nursing leadership and other departments to support daily operations.

• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

• Experience in medical records, health information management, staffing/scheduling, central supply, or healthcare administration.

• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.

• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) or other electronic medical record systems.

• Knowledge of HIPAA and medical records practices.
