Learn more about the SEED Campus here: The Davey Tree Expert Company is offering a seasonal student internship opportunity in the Davey Institute’s Diagnostic Laboratory located in Kent, Ohio. The Davey Tree Expert Company is the North American leader in residential tree care, utility right-of-way management, commercial landscape services, and urban forestry / natural resource consulting with operations throughout the US and Canada. The Davey Institute supports Davey’s North American operations through research and development, environmental programs, technical support, and education and training. Responsibilities: Process and log in plant, soil, and insect samples. Lab organization and cleaning. Assist with diagnosing insect and disease problems of plants. Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail. Qualifications: Enrollment or future enrollment in a relevant college program such as biology, botany, forestry, entomology, environmental science, horticulture, plant pathology, or related field. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ohio Chapter ISA
