Responsibilities

As the Optometrist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional vision care by:

• Performing comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages.
• Diagnosing and managing ocular diseases and medical eye conditions.
• Developing personalized treatment plans to improve visual health.
• Providing LASIK and refractive surgery co-management.
• Evaluating and treating patients experiencing dry eye disease, including advanced therapies such as IPL.
• Recommending specialty vision solutions, including Neurolens and myopia management when appropriate.
• Educating patients about eye health, eyewear, contact lenses, and preventive care.
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records while delivering an outstanding patient experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry.
• Active New York Optometry License.
• Two or more years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care.
• Experience managing ocular disease preferred.
• Interest in refractive surgery co-management, dry eye therapy, and specialty eye care is a plus.
