Regional Senior Sales Manager

Our client, a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing supplier, is seeking a Regional Senior Sales Manager to join their team. As a Regional Senior Sales Manager, you will be part of the North American Commercial/Sales organization, supporting OEM and Tier 1 customer growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capability, strategic thinking, and executive‑level communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Regional Senior Sales Manager

Location: Auburn Hills, MI 

Pay Range: $140K - $170K + 20% bonus 

What’s the Job?

• Lead all commercial activities across the North American automotive market, driving profitable growth with OEM and Tier 1 customers.
• Own executive‑level customer relationships and lead RFQ strategy, including pricing, commercial terms, tooling recovery, and profitability analysis.
• Deliver new business wins and expand existing accounts across closure systems and related product lines.
• Lead and develop Regional Sales Managers while overseeing regional sales planning, forecasting, KPIs, and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and program teams to ensure successful execution from RFQ through mass production and EOP.

What’s Needed?

• 12–15+ years of experience in technical sales, account management, or commercial leadership within a Tier 1 automotive supplier environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing regional or national sales teams.
• Strong OEM customer experience supporting GM, Ford, Stellantis, or other global automotive manufacturers.
• Deep understanding of automotive commercial processes including RFQs, pricing strategy, LTAs, tooling negotiations, and cost recovery.
