Regional Senior Sales Manager

Our client, a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing supplier, is seeking a Regional Senior Sales Manager to join their team. As a Regional Senior Sales Manager, you will be part of the North American Commercial/Sales organization, supporting OEM and Tier 1 customer growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capability, strategic thinking, and executive‑level communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay Range: $140K - $170K + 20% bonus
What’s the Job?
Lead all commercial activities across the North American automotive market, driving profitable growth with OEM and Tier 1 customers.
Own executive‑level customer relationships and lead RFQ strategy, including pricing, commercial terms, tooling recovery, and profitability analysis.
Deliver new business wins and expand existing accounts across closure systems and related product lines.
Lead and develop Regional Sales Managers while overseeing regional sales planning, forecasting, KPIs, and performance.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and program teams to ensure successful execution from RFQ through mass production and EOP.
What’s Needed?
12–15+ years of experience in technical sales, account management, or commercial leadership within a Tier 1 automotive supplier environment.
Proven leadership experience managing regional or national sales teams.
Strong OEM customer experience supporting GM, Ford, Stellantis, or other global automotive manufacturers.
Deep understanding of automotive commercial processes including RFQs, pricing strategy, LTAs, tooling negotiations, and cost recovery.
