Housekeeper – Bridge Crest Post AcuteCompensation: $17.50–$19.00/hour (DOE)Bridge Crest Post Acute is seeking dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to join our care team. If you are committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a supportive and team-driven environment, we’d love to meet you.Essential DutiesClean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floorsEnsure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularlyWipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debrisRemove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensersEmpty trash cans and replace liners as neededSweep and mop floors throughout the facilityFollow safety protocols, including using caution signage and storing chemicals securelyOperate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructionsKeep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitaryReport any resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of NursingNotify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishmentDemonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitudeManage time effectively and complete tasks efficientlyWork independently or as part of a team to meet facility standardsSupervisory RequirementsThis position has no supervisory requirementsQualificationsEducation and/or ExperiencePrevious housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care setting is a plusAbility to follow instructions and safety guidelinesStrong attention to detail and cleanlinessGood communication and interpersonal skillsLanguage SkillsAbility to read and understand procedure and instruction manuals and directionsMathematical SkillsBasic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionReasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formPhysical DemandsFrequent walking, standing, bending, and reachingAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbsRepetitive motion tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfacesUse of cleaning equipment and supplies throughout the shiftAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to needsWork EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this jobReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsThe noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderateWe are an equal opportunity employer.
