Accounting Specialist

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing manufacturing company. Responsibilities Accounting & Finance Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Prepare invoices, reconcile payments, and monitor outstanding balances. Reconcile bank and credit card statements. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. Process customer refunds and resolve payment discrepancies. Assist with inventory and cost-related accounting tasks. Support payroll and other accounting functions as needed. Generate financial reports and assist management with accounting analysis. Administrative Support Maintain organized financial files and records. Assist with audits and compliance documentation. Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing inquiries. Perform general administrative duties to support the accounting department. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial information. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Experience with ERP systems is a plus. Manufacturing or inventory accounting experience is a plus.
