Outside Sales Representative | St. Louis South Area Do you want to earn real money by out-working the competition, one conversation at a time? This is a high-activity sales role built on consistency and high-touch relationships. About the Role: As an Outside Sales Representative, you'll help companies in the St. Louis South area find exceptional talent. Your territory covers Fenton, Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Brentwood, Affton, Lemay, Sunset Hills, South St. Louis, and Shrewsbury. You'll build relationships with business owners and hiring managers, learn what they need, and present Express services as tailored solutions. The work you do every day helps people in your community find jobs. About Us: We’re a locally owned company committed to finding jobs for the members of our community. We have served the St. Louis area for 20 years, with more than 800 clients served and more than 14,000 associates placed. What You'll Do: Find new clients: You are a hunter. Our inside team owns account management once you win a client, so you stay focused on finding the next one. Work a daily plan: Spend your days meeting decision-makers face-to-face and by phone, about 125 touches a week, to set around 10 appointments and build to 2 new clients a week. Expect about 1 a week at first, growing to 2 by week 12 to 16. Own your territory: Work about 800 different companies a quarter and build a sales action plan for each of your Top 20 Hit List prospects. Partner with the inside team: Meet daily so sales and recruiting stay in sync and client needs are met. What We're Looking For: A hunter mindset: you love finding and winning new business. Self-motivated, high-energy, and comfortable with rejection. Competitive: You like keeping score, you want to win, and you want your numbers to speak for you. Professional presence: You are Express to every company you visit, so how you look, sound, and follow through matters. Goal-oriented with a record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, and at ease being measured on both activity and results. A GED or High School Diploma (college degree preferred) and sales or business development experience. Staffing knowledge is a plus, and skills can come from places we haven't considered before. Why Work With Us? Pay for performance: Base pay of $55,000 to $60,000, plus uncapped commission, bonuses, a gas allowance, healthcare, a 401(k), and PTO. A rep who follows our system should earn about $70,000 in the first 12 months and $70,000 to $90,000 after that. Real training: You're out meeting prospects in week one. Then our Power Train program, Express University, and the Outside Sales Certification. Local, with big backing: A locally owned franchise that is part of an internationally recognized organization with over 900 offices worldwide. Clear expectations and real support: You'll know your numbers every week and meet regularly with your Team Leader or franchisee for coaching.
