Job Title: Infusion RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Infusion Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 17:00 Experience: 2 Years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ONS/ONCC Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience Description: Infusion RN position available. 5x8s AM shifts from 08:00 to 17:00. This is an 8-week contract position. The patient age group will be adults. Two years of experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and ONS/ONCC. The role includes working in an infusion center and outpatient oncology. Scrub color is navy blue. Skills necessary for this position include accessing and managing ports, administering chemotherapy, and recognizing and managing side effects. The Infusion RN will monitor chemotherapy and manage complications such as nausea, vomiting, and neutropenic precautions. PICC line care and central line blood draws are also part of the responsibilities. The daily census will range from 22 to 29 patients. The position may require limited float, call, and weekend coverage during the assignment. It is essential that candidates are prepared to limit requests for time off during this 8-week assignment. Additional requirements may include completing modules pre-start, which are non-billable hours.
