Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,319 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Matthews, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, flexible Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Implement treatment goals and programs as established by the Physical Therapist. Assist in therapeutic interventions including posture training, strengthening exercises, coordination exercises, and community re-entry training. Train patients in locomotion using assistive devices and demonstrate proper usage and guarding techniques. Utilize modalities such as whirlpools, hot/cold packs, therapeutic pools, and ultrasound. Monitor patient responses and document progress accurately, including patient education and involvement. Maintain professional and ethical relationships with patients and staff while consulting with various healthcare disciplines. Participate in quality improvement projects and share relevant information with peers. Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines, maintaining a clean treatment area and equipment. Demonstrate a customer service attitude toward patients, visitors, and staff members. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. CAPTE Certified. At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience. Current CPR certification. Active license in the state where work will be performed. Schedule This position operates on a 5x8.0 schedule.
