PetVet Care Centers' Emergency Pet Clinic of Longmont is looking for a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician (overnight shifts) to join our 24/7 emergency team! Sign-on bonus opportunity available up to $3000 based on candidate experience and joining full-time or part-time!

Position Overview

Join our team as an Overnight Registered Veterinary Technician who supports hospital operations by providing dedicated quality veterinary care and exceptional service to our patients and clients. Responsibilities include providing patient care by determining animal requirements, conducting examinations and diagnostic procedures, assisting during surgery and operations, providing nursing care, assisting with feeding and caring for patients, maintaining medical supplies and equipment, overseeing triage and discharging patients, and maintaining patient medical records.

At Emergency Pet Clinic of Longmont in Longmont, Colorado, we are a dedicated, team-driven emergency and critical care practice where collaboration, accountability, and high medical standards matter. We support one another through challenging cases, value open communication, and compassionate care for our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on emergency care including triage, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, anesthesia monitoring, and more.
• Assist veterinarians in critical cases and surgical procedures.
• Monitor hospitalized patients with attention to detail and compassion.
• Communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans and patient updates.
• Support a collaborative team environment while maintaining the highest standard of patient care.

Qualifications (Required)

• Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
• Prior emergency or specialty experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable in high-pressure situations with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.

Schedule:

• Rotating shifts - Overnight, Weekends, and Holidays
• Shift differential pay available

Pay Range

$27—$32 USD
