Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Massachusetts
• Experience delivering physical therapy in school or healthcare settings preferred
• PTA applicants considered if credentialed appropriately for MA schools
• Strong communication skills for working with diverse student populations and school staff
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEPs and team input

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluations, develop goals, and deliver direct PT interventions to students
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to monitor student progress and adapt strategies
• Maintain clear and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
• Support inclusion efforts, assist with adaptive equipment and classroom modifications as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings as an allied health team member
• Offer guidance and support to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) as appropriate
