ProSidian Seeks a Accountant - Standard | Comprehensive Operational Support Engagement Team | Labor Category - Mid Level Exempt Professional aligned under services related to NAICS: 541611 located supporting The mission of the Department of Justice is to uphold the rule of law, to keep our country safe, and to protect civil rights.

Seeking Accountant - Standard candidates with relevant Defense, And Security Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Defense, And Security Sector Clients such as DEA. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Provide services and support as a Professional, Technical and Administrative Support Services (PTASS) (Accountant - Standard) in the Defense, And Security Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) | Department of Justice Located In and across the CONUS Region.

Develops and implements performance measures for quality control in accounting practices involving daily and weekly duties related to processing, balancing and reporting of data in MS Access databases; balancing and reconciling net paid-outs and check issued reports. Provides oversight for timely analysis and accounting of capitation and interest expense, the reconciliation of related general ledger accounts, accounting for all reinsurance contracts, the testing and balancing of the financial software systems, and ensuring proper internal controls.

Qualifications

Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Have initiative and strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificates a plus. Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Excel and Access) required.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Requires four to 6 years of related experience.

Strong analytical skills, proficiency in advanced Excel functions, and experience with financial reconciliation and quality control in accounting practices.

Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)

Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)

Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. | Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills for effective team management. | Outstanding time management and prioritization abilities to meet project milestones. | Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities | Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail. | Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills | Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
