Maintenance Tech 3

This maintenance technician role supports manufacturing equipment and facility systems at a medical technology company in North Carolina. The position involves preventive and corrective maintenance activities, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, equipment inspections, and documentation—all performed in compliance with cGMP and FDA regulations. Candidates should have 4+ years of experience with automated systems, electrical controls, PLC programming, and CMMS software.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and building systems
- Conduct equipment inspections to identify safety hazards and performance trends
- Maintain documentation of maintenance work and report issues to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with cGMP regulations and FDA requirements during all operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- 4+ years experience with automated conveyor systems, electrical controls, and PLC programming
- Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance planning and task documentation
- Knowledge of electrical theory, pneumatic systems, and National Electrical Code
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills
- Physical capability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate in confined spaces
